As Opera-Lytes approaches its the 30th anniversary in 2024, we remain committed to our mission of bringing live, fully staged productions of Gilbert and Sullivan, classic Broadway, and operetta, along with concerts and educational programming, to Western New York audiences.
The past two years have been challenging to all performing arts companies, and we need your financial support more than ever. Opera-Lytes cannot survive by relying on the income from ticket sales and grants. Paying the rent of Buffalo-area theaters, hiring an orchestra, attracting and retaining the best soloists, and building a committed chorus—all these initiatives depend on substantial contributions from local fans of operetta and opera.
